Dr Siavash Mashoof graduated from King’s College London Dental Institute in 2008. He was awarded a Distinction and received The Sidney James Kaye Certificate of Merit in Oral Diseases.
After working for some years in general practice and completing his MJDF diploma with the Royal College of Surgeons of England, he returned to King’s College Hospital as a Clinical Teacher for Dental students in the Departments of Acute Dental Care and Primary Dental Care.
In 2012, Dr Mashoof was accepted to undergo a 4-year Specialist training programme in Prosthodontics at the internationally acclaimed UCL Eastman Dental Institute. Prosthodontics encompasses the disciplines of Reconstructive, Aesthetic and Implant Dentistry. In 2015, Dr Mashoof graduated with a Master of Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics with Distinction. He completed novel research in cracked teeth, which was nominated for the UCL Dean’s Research Prize.
Dr Mashoof works with the London Deanery as an Educational Supervisor and Trainer for newly qualified Dentists. He has been actively involved in training Postgraduate Dentists at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute, recently being awarded the UCL ChangeMakers Grant for developing an online teaching resource for Postgraduate Dentists.
